Timmie Terpstra charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timmie Terpstra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Michaels All Stars's Timmie Terpstra got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Michaels All Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmie Terpstra to maneuver through the defense. Gregor Baalen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerwin Pilage in the 11th minute of play. Gerwin Pilage's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregor Baalen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Dimitrie Iepmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De hijgende Hertjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitrie Iepmann in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregor Baalen saved Michaels All Stars from getting behind. In the 29th minute Dimitrie Iepmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Baalen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Michaels All Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmie Terpstra to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes, De hijgende Hertjes's Leendert Zuurman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gregor Baalen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De hijgende Hertjes reached it. After 33 played minutes Michaels All Stars got a freekick which was hit by Bertus Timmer. 34 minutes into the match, Dimitrie Iepmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregor Baalen. Michaels All Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitrie Iepmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gerwin Pilage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Baalen having to interfere. Maikel van Rhijn kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Gerwin Pilage notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Michaels All Stars's Gregor Baalen. Gregor Baalen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steen Müür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry van Veldhuizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Michaels All Stars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De hijgende Hertjes were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry van Veldhuizen to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Gerwin Pilage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De hijgende Hertjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerwin Pilage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Pieter Hoogendorp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Michaels All Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De hijgende Hertjes the free kick. After 55 played minutes Michaels All Stars got a freekick which was hit by Pieter Hoogendorp. Maikel van Rhijn hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Michaels All Stars's zone, Dimitrie Iepmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Baalen came out of the goal and Dimitrie Iepmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitrie Iepmann in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregor Baalen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Michaels All Stars's Gregor Baalen got control of the ball when Donny Rieks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregor Baalen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitrie Iepmann in the 72nd minute of the match. Gregor Baalen made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gerwin Pilage sent off a good shot on target. Gerwin Pilage in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregor Baalen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Michaels All Stars's zone, Gerwin Pilage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Baalen came out of the goal and Gerwin Pilage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Gerwin Pilage in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerwin Pilage got free with Gregor Baalen in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michaels All Stars's Henry van Veldhuizen got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
