Gio Theissen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oldetrine. A collision led to Oldetrine getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ruben Ottenhof hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Ab Klerk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio Theissen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Oldetrine's Enrico Santarelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gio Theissen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 29 played minutes Oldetrine got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Nascimento. Ed van der Linden kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The Laak Eendracht players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oldetrine were winning 0-1.

Rickard Grönberg charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rickard Grönberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Oldetrine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Grönberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Rickard Grönberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ab Klerks short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Gio Theissen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ab Klerk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Gio Theissen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Oldetrine got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Grönberg. After a defensive mix-up in Oldetrine's zone, Govert Westerink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folker Hillen came out of the goal and Govert Westerink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Laak Eendracht's Arjen van Westerop got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Oldetrine got a freekick which was hit by Daniel van Gastel. Arjen van der Valk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Folker Hillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gio Theissen had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jim Bakker from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Gio Theissen was a little too slow when Ab Klerk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-2. 90 minutes into the match, Laak Eendracht's goalkeeper Gio Theissen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ab Klerk. In the 92nd minute, Oldetrine's Jim Bakker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The Laak Eendracht fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Oldetrine were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
