Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 5983, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) 4 minutes into the game, Maurice Meijering threw the ball into play from the sideline. SAFA United's Wilfred Veldman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guus Schophuis in the 7th minute of play forced Michaels All Stars's goalkeeper Gregor Baalen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pieter Hoogendorp during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pieter Hoogendorp kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Henry van Veldhuizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jan Israel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry van Veldhuizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Israel having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Michaels All Stars got a freekick which was hit by Jordi Dorenbosch. If Ronald Hofman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Waldijk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregor Baalen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Hofman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronald Hofman was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Michaels All Stars's zone, Ronald Hofman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Baalen came out of the goal and Ronald Hofman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guus Schophuis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Michaels All Stars defense, Ronald Hofman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregor Baalen. The Michaels All Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregor Baalen should have stopped the shot. Gregor Baalen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Hofman in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SAFA United's Willem Daniels got a free kick in the 75th minute. SAFA United made a substitution. Erik Vonk replaced Ronald Hofman. Willem Daniels kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of SAFA United booed when Michaels All Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurice Meijering didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Israel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin Waldijk in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Erik Vonk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregor Baalen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gregor Baalen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Vonk's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. SAFA United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
