The tension between the Straat and the Knabbel en Babbel players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Knabbel en Babbel getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gertjan Steffens hit a great ball. Antoon Weerd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serge Niemeyer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pieter-Jan Klaus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Som in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Huib Prins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin Blommaart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Pieter-Jan Klaus made a huge save. After having played for 27 minutes, Alfred Som managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knabbel en Babbel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Som was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Antoon Weerd recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pieter-Jan Klaus. Antoon Weerd showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Elroy Drok's late challenge caught a Knabbel en Babbel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elroy Drok helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Elroy Drok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jurgen Saelman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antoon Weerd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pieter-Jan Klaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickael Velez, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Alfred Som managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knabbel en Babbel's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Som was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huib Prins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Mickael Velez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Klaus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieter-Jan Klaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoon Weerd in the 71st minute of play. Knabbel en Babbel's Pieter-Jan Klaus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickael Velez in the 73rd minute of play. Pieter-Jan Klaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoon Weerd in the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Antoon Weerd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickael Velez in the 95th minute of play forced Knabbel en Babbel's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Klaus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Knabbel en Babbel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Straat from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
