Spectators: 7466 (Terracing: 5585, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hub Bartels started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephan Poels during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Lammerenburg HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Poels to maneuver through the defense. When Lex Onrust came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Keinseman VV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lex Onrust couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Lammerenburg HC got a freekick which was hit by Giel Folkers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Onrust in the 9th minute of play forced Lammerenburg HC's goalkeeper Otto Ierlandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickael Wisgerhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giel Folkers, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Hub Bartels's late challenge caught a Keinseman VV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hub Bartels helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Keinseman VV's Mario Wemers got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Lex Onrust had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Lammerenburg HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hub Bartels to maneuver through the defense. Lammerenburg HC's Patrick Jonkman got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mickael Wisgerhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hub Bartels in the 43rd minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lex Onrust stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Stephan Poels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Keinseman VV got a freekick which was hit by Lex Onrust. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Lex Onrust managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keinseman VV's supporters rose to their feet, but Lex Onrust was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Ierlandt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Wemers kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Lex Onrust fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Ierlandt having to interfere. Lex Onrust received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Otto Ierlandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Lex Onrust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Lammerenburg HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Wilson to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Lammerenburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Lex Onrust came free, but Otto Ierlandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keinseman VV were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lammerenburg HC to leave the ground with a draw.
