Kees Hulscher started the match with the kick off. Floris Valentijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kees Hulscher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floris Valentijn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Hulscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Floris Valentijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kees Hulscher in the 14th minute of the match. Floris Valentijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Gasteren in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Randenburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Oosterman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gentle Ds defense, Coenraad Severijnse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Floris Valentijn. The Gentle Ds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Floris Valentijn should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Geale Adriaanse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascal Oosterman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Floris Valentijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Gasteren in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Geert Stout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Floris Valentijn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gentle Ds getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Dries Zevenhuizen hit a great ball. After the first half Randenburg were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wouter de Zwaan made a kick off. Mathieu Stuijt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boudewijn Klooster having to interfere. Floris Valentijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coenraad Severijnse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Hulscher in the 59th minute of play forced Gentle Ds's goalkeeper Floris Valentijn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floris Valentijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coenraad Severijnse in the 64th minute of the match. Floris Valentijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kees Hulscher in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gentle Ds's Dries Zevenhuizen got a free kick in the 74th minute. Boudewijn Klooster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wouter de Zwaan in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Rik Hoeksma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match Edwin Olfers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boudewijn Klooster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Kees Hulscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Gentle Ds got a freekick which was hit by Dries Zevenhuizen. A hard shot 91 in the game by Harm Gasteren from a close distance when the talented Floris Valentijn managed to make a qualified save. Gentle Ds's players were relieved. 92 minutes into the match, Gentle Ds's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik Heulmann came free, but Floris Valentijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Floris Valentijn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Hulscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Gentle Ds from getting a goal against them. The Gentle Ds fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Randenburg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
