Otto Ierlandt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kelvin de Wolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Ierlandt having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kelvin de Wolf in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otto Ierlandt saved Lammerenburg HC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Lammerenburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Kelvin de Wolf came free, but Otto Ierlandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Bill Damstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bill Damstra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otto Ierlandt was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Kelvin de Wolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Ierlandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelvin de Wolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Damstra in the 26th minute of play forced Lammerenburg HC's goalkeeper Otto Ierlandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Verbeek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Ierlandt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Lammerenburg HC got a freekick which was hit by Laurens Abbenbroek. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Bill Damstra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anduze FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill Damstra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Ierlandt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Otto Ierlandt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kelvin de Wolf went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lammerenburg HC's Michael Wilson got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remond Breugel made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jos Dalman sent off a good shot on target. Otto Ierlandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Damstra in the 44th minute of the match. Otto Ierlandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelvin de Wolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Adriaan den Hartog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otto Ierlandt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bill Damstra made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Bill Damstra rounded Lammerenburg HC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. 63 minutes into the game, Anduze FC's Adriaan den Hartog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otto Ierlandt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Ivo Beishuizen's late challenge caught a Lammerenburg HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Beishuizen helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Anduze FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Beishuizen. After a rather tough play, Lammerenburg HC's Sander van der Doelen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Sander van der Doelen fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lammerenburg HC's protests and gave Sander van der Doelen a yellow card for diving instead. Sander van der Doelen hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Lammerenburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Damstra came free, but Otto Ierlandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Bill Damstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Ierlandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remond Breugel came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Lammerenburg HC's Michael Wilson. But to his dismay, Michael Wilson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.
