Ted Cuperus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herman Wansinks short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Timo Sligter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Martijn Kikkert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Herman Wansink sped through Bonrepas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Timo Sligter. After some careless play in the Bonrepas FC defense, Herman Weken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timo Sligter. The Bonrepas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timo Sligter should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bonrepas FC's Benjamin Korf got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Michel Schirring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Ricky Lever cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Filip Hellemons was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martijn Kikkert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martijn Kikkert to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ricky Lever managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonrepas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricky Lever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Hellemons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martijn Kikkert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Hellemons having to interfere. Filip Hellemons made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Ricky Lever sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Martijn Kikkert took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Filip Hellemons to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Olympia 04's Filip Hellemons got control of the ball when Ricky Lever tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Herman Wansink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filip Hellemons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martijn Kikkert, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Bonrepas FC's Martijn Kikkert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. In the 86th minute, Benjamin Korf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Martijn Kikkert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Hellemons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Olympia 04 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Otto Kooij hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Ricky Lever got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bonrepas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bonrepas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
