Lex Onrust started the match with the kick off. Floris Valentijn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lex Onrust, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Lex Onrust fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Floris Valentijn having to interfere. The supporters of Keinseman VV booed when Gentle Ds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wouter de Zwaan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lex Onrust received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Floris Valentijn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Brain Hulshof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Floris Valentijn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floris Valentijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex Onrust in the 39th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wouter de Zwaan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Wilfred Bouwman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Floris Valentijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lex Onrust, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Brain Hulshof made a precise shot to the right of Floris Valentijn. Gentle Ds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Keinseman VV's Meindert Raatjes got a free kick in the 67th minute. Dries Zevenhuizen charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dries Zevenhuizen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Gentle Ds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dries Zevenhuizen to maneuver through the defense. Floris Valentijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brain Hulshof in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brain Hulshof in the 77th minute of play forced Gentle Ds's goalkeeper Floris Valentijn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Lex Onrust left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Keinseman VV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 91 minutes of play, Keinseman VV's Brain Hulshof made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Floris Valentijn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Lex Onrust made a precise shot to the right of Floris Valentijn. Gentle Ds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Keinseman VV had played much better football throughout.
