Fabrizio Oroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Hemmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 4th minute, Martin Hemmen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HVC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute, Andy Waterreus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of HVC booed when Kubotai F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Kubotai F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Atabek Temren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Hemmen in the 16th minute of play forced Kubotai F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabrizio Oroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes of play, HVC's Martin Hemmen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabrizio Oroni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute, Martin Hemmen made a precise shot to the right of Fabrizio Oroni. Kubotai F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Martin Hemmen scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio Oroni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Co Sanders threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kubotai F.C.'s Ignacio Shepherd quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kubotai F.C.'s Fabrizio Oroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Hemmen in the 37th minute of play. Fabrizio Oroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Hemmen in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Aílton Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Co Sanders made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which David Meinders however managed to control. The supporters of HVC booed when Kubotai F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ate Adelaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Martin Hemmen came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the HVC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Hemmen couldn't finish the play. After the first half HVC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Hemmen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Martin Hemmen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabrizio Oroni, 0-5. Martin Hemmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Hemmen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabrizio Oroni. That made the score 0-7 in the 69 minute of play. Jurre Bust could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Fabrizio Oroni made a huge save. Fabrizio Oroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogier Remmelts in the 86th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as HVC's Martin Hemmen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabrizio Oroni. That made the score 0-8 after 90 minutes of play. Aílton Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
