When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Erben Saarberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sjaak Vrede to make any attempt to save it. After 29 minutes of play, Gios tou Telamon's Mark Overmars made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sjaak Vrede was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Vleuten's Giovanni Schaars got a free kick in the 35th minute. Sjaak Vrede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cees Boer in the 37th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Giovanni Schaars put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vleuten fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Vleuten:s Sjaak Vrede showed great skill when he stopped Humberto Greef:s penalty. Sjaak Vrede made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Greef in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cees Boer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vleuten's Sjaak Vrede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erben Saarberg in the 55th minute of play. Mark Overmars took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sjaak Vrede. Sjaak Vrede dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When Bem Bem fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gios tou Telamon's protests and gave Bem Bem a yellow card for diving instead. Bem Bem hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Vleuten's goal looked a bit too open when Erben Saarberg came free, but Sjaak Vrede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cees Boer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sjaak Vrede was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Humberto Greef notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Vleuten's Sjaak Vrede. After 87 minutes of play, Gios tou Telamon's Mirko Boer made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sjaak Vrede was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erben Saarberg scored 10-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sjaak Vrede, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 97 minutes of play, Gios tou Telamon's Bem Bem made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sjaak Vrede was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Gios tou Telamon were the better team. Gios tou Telamon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
