Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adriaan Ricksen got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Hellcity Redstars F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Ijksma to maneuver through the defense. Gert van der Werff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjef Schild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damien Luirink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Foeke Assendelft having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hellcity Redstars F.C's Harold Wekenburg got a free kick in the 7th minute. Adriaan Ricksen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Limmerkoog's goal looked a bit too open when Adriaan Ricksen came free, but Foeke Assendelft reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Hoven hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Damien Luirink struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Foeke Assendelft didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hellcity Redstars F.C. The crowd rose to their feet as Adriaan Ricksen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Foeke Assendelft. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Damien Luirink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Foeke Assendelft read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When Adriaan Ricksen came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Hellcity Redstars F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriaan Ricksen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Limmerkoog's Bertus van Nistelrooij got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriaan Ricksen in the 31st minute of play forced Limmerkoog's goalkeeper Foeke Assendelft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damien Luirink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Foeke Assendelft made a huge save. Foeke Assendelft showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriaan Ricksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Damien Luirink fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Foeke Assendelft, passed just outside the right post. 48 minutes into the match, Limmerkoog's goalkeeper Foeke Assendelft had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damien Luirink. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Adriaan Ricksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hellcity Redstars F.C's goalkeeper Gert van der Werff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harold Wekenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hellcity Redstars F.C's Adriaan Ricksen in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriaan Ricksen in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Foeke Assendelft prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Limmerkoog booed when Hellcity Redstars F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Blanker didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Damien Luirink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
