Martien Stühling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cees Boer in the 5th minute of the match. Efrain Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hette Kaspers, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes AFC Treubwegje got a freekick which was hit by Michael Tinge. Bem Bem might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martien Stühling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bem Bem ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, AFC Treubwegje's Gert Wilhelm got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 19 minutes, Bem Bem made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Treubwegje's Martien Stühling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cees Boer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martien Stühling having to interfere. With 26 minutes on the clock, Fabian Veenema commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of AFC Treubwegje:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gios tou Telamon:s goal. Martien Stühling went to the wrong direction when Humberto Greef was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Michael Tinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Bem Bem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martien Stühling. Bem Bem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cees Boer in the 35th minute of play forced AFC Treubwegje's goalkeeper Martien Stühling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erben Saarberg came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Gios tou Telamon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erben Saarberg couldn't finish the play. 3-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Bem Bem elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to AFC Treubwegje getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Diderik Smibum hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, AFC Treubwegje's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Overmars came free, but Martien Stühling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Treubwegje's Martien Stühling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Treubwegje from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cees Boer made a kick off. Cees Boer scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martien Stühling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Bem Bem made a precise shot to the right of Martien Stühling. AFC Treubwegje's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erben Saarberg in the 61st minute of play forced AFC Treubwegje's goalkeeper Martien Stühling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erben Saarberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Martien Stühling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Tinge during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, AFC Treubwegje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Tinge to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Gios tou Telamon's Cees Boer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martien Stühling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Marco Drok's late challenge caught a Gios tou Telamon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Drok helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes AFC Treubwegje got a freekick which was hit by Diderik Smibum. In the 83rd match minute, Gios tou Telamon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Adelaar to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bem Bem in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martien Stühling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Erben Saarberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AFC Treubwegje's Jos Meijs got a free kick in the 91st minute. Martien Stühling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cees Boer in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Bem Bem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martien Stühling. AFC Treubwegje's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bem Bem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
