Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Folker Zoetebier took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Folker Zoetebier in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harris Schattenberg saved Fruta Tropical from getting behind. Rafael Rijkaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Verbeek in the 10th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Rafael Rijkaard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Donny Hoogsteen charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donny Hoogsteen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Bakbeest getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Donny Hoogsteen hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, FC Bakbeest's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Verbeek came free, but Rafael Rijkaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folker Zoetebier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Folker Zoetebier took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harris Schattenberg. Harris Schattenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Folker Zoetebier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harris Schattenberg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fruta Tropical's zone, Folker Zoetebier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harris Schattenberg came out of the goal and Folker Zoetebier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harris Schattenberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franck Akkerman went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Roelof Meijs in the 54th minute of play forced FC Bakbeest's goalkeeper Rafael Rijkaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Bakbeest getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sebastiaan Tieman hit a great ball. After 61 minutes of play, Fruta Tropical's Rein Verbeek made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Rijkaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Fruta Tropical's zone, Jelte Nieuwburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harris Schattenberg came out of the goal and Jelte Nieuwburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Folker Zoetebier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harris Schattenberg having to interfere. The FC Bakbeest players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
