Hellcity Redstars F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damien Luirink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damien Luirink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Greef having to interfere. After 11th play minutes Gijs Baars shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Gert van der Werff and just under the crossbar into goal. Damien Luirink charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damien Luirink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Niswijlre FC booed when Hellcity Redstars F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damien Luirink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hellcity Redstars F.C's Gert van der Werff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Hellcity Redstars F.C from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes Hellcity Redstars F.C got a freekick which was hit by Danny Blanker. Niswijlre FC's Michael Greef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriaan Ricksen in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joop Riemers during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Joop Riemers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damien Luirink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Greef having to make a save. Gijs Baarss short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Gert van der Werff to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th minute Adriaan Ricksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Greef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Hellcity Redstars F.C's Adriaan Ricksen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Greef narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match Andreas van Nieuwstadt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Greef showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gijs Baars made the kick off in the second half. When Adriaan Ricksen came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Hellcity Redstars F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriaan Ricksen couldn't finish the play. If Adriaan Ricksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adriaan Ricksen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Niswijlre FC's Gijs Baars in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hellcity Redstars F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After 75 played minutes Adriaan Ricksen rounded Niswijlre FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Michael Greef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Blanker in the 82nd minute of play. If Adriaan Ricksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sipke Friebel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Damien Luirink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellcity Redstars F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Damien Luirink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Greef breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hellcity Redstars F.C booed when Niswijlre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joop Riemers didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hellcity Redstars F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
