Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) Pepijn Daalmeyer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Mathijs Timmermans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thijs Iepmann was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Thijs Iepmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Scheffer in the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Limmerkoog's zone, Mathijs Timmermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thijs Iepmann came out of the goal and Mathijs Timmermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Limmerkoog defense, Jaap Bot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thijs Iepmann. The Limmerkoog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thijs Iepmann should have stopped the shot. Vleuten's Mathijs Timmermans got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21stth minute of the game Reinier Melker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limmerkoog's Thijs Iepmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thijs Iepmann came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vleuten's Donald Scheffer. But to his dismay, Donald Scheffer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Vleuten getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Donald Scheffer hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Donald Scheffer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vleuten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Scheffer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Harold Kauffeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Mathijs Timmermans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vleuten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathijs Timmermans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Reinier Melker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thijs Iepmann. Limmerkoog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinier Melker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Limmerkoog defense, Reinier Melker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thijs Iepmann. The Limmerkoog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thijs Iepmann should have stopped the shot. Reinier Melker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Limmerkoog's zone, Ryan Wensing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thijs Iepmann came out of the goal and Ryan Wensing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

55 minutes into the game, Mathijs Timmermans lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Thijs Iepmann. If Mathijs Timmermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thijs Iepmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaap Bot in the 60th minute. Vleuten's Sjaak Vrede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sjef Schild in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th minute, Donald Scheffer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thijs Iepmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 76th minute, Reinier Melker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Reinier Melker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vleuten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinier Melker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donald Scheffer in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thijs Iepmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vleuten's Mathijs Timmermans got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Vleuten's Jaap Bot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thijs Iepmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mathijs Timmermans in the 87th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Thijs Iepmann kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-9 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Mathijs Timmermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thijs Iepmann having to interfere. In the 96th minute Pepijn Daalmeyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sjaak Vrede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Vleuten left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Limmerkoog.
