Fruta Tropical's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Mickael van Zeggeren scored to the left of an out of position Harris Schattenberg, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Vorenkamp got free with Harris Schattenberg in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Roelof Meijs fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fruta Tropical's protests and gave Roelof Meijs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Roelof Meijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dirk Veenhuis during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dirk Veenhuis kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Victor Gronden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fruta Tropical's Harris Schattenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serge Das in the 14th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Oranjú FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven Vorenkamp. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mickael van Zeggeren in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harris Schattenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Veenhuis in the 24th minute of play forced Oranjú FC's goalkeeper Nick Need to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fruta Tropical's Harris Schattenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickael van Zeggeren in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Emiel Schol threw the ball into play from the sideline. Oranjú FC's Giovanni Wander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Giovanni Wander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Fruta Tropical booed when Oranjú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Dijkstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mickael van Zeggeren in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harris Schattenberg saved Fruta Tropical from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Gronden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Coos Collins's late challenge caught a Fruta Tropical's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Coos Collins helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oranjú FC's Coos Collins got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Nick Need made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Dirk Veenhuis sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Fruta Tropical's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Gronden came free, but Harris Schattenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Victor Gronden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Harris Schattenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Fruta Tropical's Klaas Spannenburg got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Mickael van Zeggeren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Harris Schattenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Nick Need made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Dirk Veenhuis sent off a good shot on target. Rein Verbeek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Oranjú FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Daniël van Zijp hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match, Paul Idelberger got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nick Need was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With 92 minutes on the clock, Johan Dijkstra commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oranjú FC fully deserved thier win.
