Dolf Bosma kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Felix Thomasse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alwin Baatenburg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alwin Baatenburg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Thomasse in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Robin Oss fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when John Zeijlemaker sped through PSV Eindhoven's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alwin Baatenburg. 19 minutes into the match, Robin Oss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alwin Baatenburg, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Zeijlemaker in the 25th minute of play forced PSV Eindhoven's goalkeeper Alwin Baatenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, PSV Eindhoven's Alwin Baatenburg got control of the ball when Felix Thomasse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo van Halst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Tevreden, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Alwin Baatenburg was a little too slow when John Zeijlemaker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Zeijlemaker to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Robin Oss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alwin Baatenburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. PSV Eindhoven's Alwin Baatenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Zeijlemaker in the 57th minute of play. Alwin Baatenburg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Zeijlemaker went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. John Zeijlemaker took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alwin Baatenburg. Alwin Baatenburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, John Zeijlemaker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loveren's supporters rose to their feet, but John Zeijlemaker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alwin Baatenburg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute of the match Robin Oss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alwin Baatenburg skillfully saved the ball. Loveren walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
