Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 6 minutes, Jan Willemsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brunsting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Willemsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Brunsting's goalkeeper Kurt Harmsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Zeijlemaker. After 11 minutes of play, Brunsting's Jan Willemsen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo van Halst was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan Willemsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Brunsting's Kurt Harmsen got control of the ball when Joep van Zalen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Jan Willemsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo van Halst was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 34th minute Joep van Zalen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Harmsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Loveren's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Willemsen came free, but Hugo van Halst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brunsting's Demy Brunt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo van Halst in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Loveren's Joris Nedergaard got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Brunsting's goalkeeper Kurt Harmsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joep van Zalen. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Zeijlemaker made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Dimitrie Eefting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Loveren booed when Brunsting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Robin Oss came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Loveren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Oss couldn't finish the play. Kurt Harmsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joep van Zalen, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jan Willemsen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes, Loveren's Dolf Bosma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kurt Harmsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loveren reached it. Kurt Harmsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Thomasse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Willemsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, John Zeijlemaker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loveren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Kurt Harmsen came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Loveren's John Zeijlemaker. But to his dismay, John Zeijlemaker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 84th minute, Jan Willemsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brunsting's Kurt Harmsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Thomasse in the 91st minute of play. Demy Brunt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Brunsting's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
