Spectators: 7480 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 51) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Klaas Sybering got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Stragapede got free with Henry Aalders in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniele Stragapede who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Henry Aalders when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniele Stragapede in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henry Aalders, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 13 minutes into the game, Diamonds's Jouke Mensing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Aalders made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Diamonds's Rudolf Borker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Aalders. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. Daniele Stragapede's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Henry Aalders skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Diamonds's Daniele Stragapede in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Derks's goalie prevented a goal. After 25 played minutes FC Derks got a freekick which was hit by Nico-Jan Mülder. After having played for 30 minutes, Jan Oss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diamonds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Oss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Daniele Stragapede sped through FC Derks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Aalders. Daniele Stragapede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Derks's Gertjan Baatenburg got a free kick in the 38th minute. Henry Aalders stood somewhat misplaced when Daniele Stragapede came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Derks's zone, Jan Oss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Aalders came out of the goal and Jan Oss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniele Stragapede in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Aalders saved FC Derks from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Derks's zone, Jan Oss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Aalders came out of the goal and Jan Oss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Oss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Aalders having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniele Stragapede to strike the kick off in the second half. When Daniele Stragapede came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Diamonds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Stragapede couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniele Stragapede in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Aalders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 minutes, Daniele Stragapede made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Derks's Henry Aalders tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniele Stragapede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniele Stragapede in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Aalders saved FC Derks from getting behind. If Reinhard Spaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Aalders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Borker in the 66th minute of play forced FC Derks's goalkeeper Henry Aalders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniele Stragapede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Henry Aalders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Aalders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Stragapede's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jouke Mensing during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Daniele Stragapede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Aalders was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After some careless play in the FC Derks defense, Reinhard Spaan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Aalders. The FC Derks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Aalders should have stopped the shot. When Rudolf Borker came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Diamonds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Borker couldn't finish the play. When Diamonds's Daniele Stragapede in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Olof Hof's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Aalders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Henry Aalders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Stragapede, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The audience was convinced that Daniele Stragapede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Aalders was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Diamonds fully deserved thier win.
