The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Berkum S.V.'s Marco de Boer got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute Alejandro Valverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Maurycy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geale Eringa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Beniamin Lichorobiec took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geale Eringa. Geale Eringa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Geale Eringa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beniamin Lichorobiec went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco de Boer during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Berkum S.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco de Boer to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beniamin Lichorobiec in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geale Eringa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Berkum S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz came free, but Geale Eringa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Cezary Prusinowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geale Eringa. Cezary Prusinowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Geale Eringa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadzieja Speed Elblag. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Beniamin Lichorobiec took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Geale Eringa to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Chavdar Hesapchiev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. Geale Eringa was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz really showed his touch with that goal: 8-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejandro Valverde was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Clarijs in the 52nd minute of play forced Berkum S.V.'s goalkeeper Geale Eringa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geale Eringa came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz. But to his dismay, Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 63rd minute, Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nadzieja Speed Elblag fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Rik Clarijs struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Geale Eringa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadzieja Speed Elblag. Geale Eringa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beniamin Lichorobiec in the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Chavdar Hesapchiev made a precise shot to the right of Geale Eringa. Berkum S.V.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. Geale Eringa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cezary Prusinowski went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiel Middeljans in the 78th minute of play forced Berkum S.V.'s goalkeeper Geale Eringa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Beniamin Lichorobiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Berkum S.V. defense, Chavdar Hesapchiev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geale Eringa. The Berkum S.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geale Eringa should have stopped the shot. Chavdar Hesapchiev scored 17-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geale Eringa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz in the 93rd minute of play forced Berkum S.V.'s goalkeeper Geale Eringa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geale Eringa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Lichorobiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 95th minute Beniamin Lichorobiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geale Eringa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 98 minutes of play, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Przemyslaw Klimkiewicz made it 18-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geale Eringa was left in no man's land by his defense there!
