Dudu Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Stragapede, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, FC Fruithof's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Oss came free, but Dudu Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Medgyesi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. FC Fruithof's attentive Alex Medgyesi managed to snatch the ball when Reinhard Spaan made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Jhon Wotte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reinhard Bennink, 1-0. After 27 played minutes Diamonds got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Witting. After a rather tough play, Diamonds's Ed Zeevenhoven got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 39 minutes into the game, Diamonds's Rudolf Borker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dudu Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

FC Fruithof made a substitution. Jorn Buskermolen replaced Hette Kun. FC Fruithof's Fabian de Witte was substituted for Jhon Wotte. FC Fruithof's Dudu Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC Fruithof from getting a goal against them. Dudu Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Stragapede in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Stragapede in the 57th minute of play forced FC Fruithof's goalkeeper Dudu Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Oss got free with Dudu Rossi in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 minutes of play, Diamonds's Jan Oss made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dudu Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dudu Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Borker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
