Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilco Zeegelaar made the kick off which started today's match. Jelle Medgyesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Chris Daelemans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gooitzen Dilling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jelle Medgyesi's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Hans Looze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gooitzen Dilling having to interfere. With a little luck, Vroenhof's Gert Jan Tamminga got control of the ball when Herman Boekholt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jelle Medgyesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gooitzen Dilling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gooitzen Dilling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jelle Medgyesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jelle Medgyesi's late challenge caught a Harde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jelle Medgyesi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Jelle Medgyesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vroenhof's Wilco Zeegelaar got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes, Hans Looze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vroenhof and the Harde players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Vroenhof's zone, Herman Boekholt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Jan Tamminga came out of the goal and Herman Boekholt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Looze kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vroenhof's Arie Rieks got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Gerard Brandsma fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harde's protests and gave Gerard Brandsma a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Vroenhof got a freekick which was hit by Jelle Medgyesi. Chris Daelemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gooitzen Dilling having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Harde got a freekick which was hit by Herman Boekholt. In the 45th minute, Jelle Medgyesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mathieu Jongsma made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 54 in the game by Jelle Medgyesi from a close distance when the talented Gooitzen Dilling managed to make a qualified save. Harde's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Baan during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vroenhof's Gert Jan Tamminga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Brandsma in the 65th minute of play. If Hans Looze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert Jan Tamminga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerben Kuis in the 71st minute of play. After 77 played minutes Vroenhof got a freekick which was hit by Pepijn Oude Kamphuis. In the 79th minute Herman Boekholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Jan Tamminga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Daelemans in the 83rd minute of play forced Harde's goalkeeper Gooitzen Dilling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Wilco Zeegelaar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vroenhof's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilco Zeegelaar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gooitzen Dilling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gert Jan Tamminga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerben Kuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Hans Looze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gooitzen Dilling having to interfere. Gerard Brandsma got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gooitzen Dilling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Daelemans in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vroenhof had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
