FC Derks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dick Ooijer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henry Aalders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Foeke Kamps's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Feliks Prosowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Klaas Sybering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Foeke Kamps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaas Sybering during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Feliks Prosowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Aalders having to interfere. Esmin De Beuf's late challenge caught a FC Titmouse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esmin De Beuf helped the player get up and apologised. Esmin De Beuf kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Foeke Kamps got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Klaas Sybering got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, FC Derks's Esmin De Beuf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimír Ondroušek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute Anthony Mulders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Aalders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Derks! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for FC Titmouse. Feliks Prosowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henry Aalders. 0-1. In the 38th minute, Klaas Sybering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes, FC Titmouse's Dick Ooijer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henry Aalders came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Titmouse reached it. After the first half FC Titmouse were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Esmin De Beuf made the kick off in the second half. Nico-Jan Mülder kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Derks's zone, Foeke Kamps stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Aalders came out of the goal and Foeke Kamps tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Foeke Kamps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feliks Prosowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Derks getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Nico-Jan Mülder hit a great ball. Feliks Prosowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Aalders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Feliks Prosowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Foeke Kamps was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Henry Aalders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliks Prosowski in the 83rd minute. Foeke Kamps blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Aalders having to make a save. Henry Aalders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Mulders in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foeke Kamps in the 89th minute of play forced FC Derks's goalkeeper Henry Aalders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Foeke Kamps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Titmouse booed when FC Derks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willem Roelofs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Derks fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Titmouse were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
