Herman Boekholt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Sipke Hesp made a huge save. If Gerben Kuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Boekholt came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sipke Hesp could save by the left post. Harde's Gooitzen Dilling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem Houwing in the 18th minute of play. Mathieu Jongsma charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathieu Jongsma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Harde getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mathieu Jongsma hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Jelle Rekers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halfmijl HC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Harde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jelle Rekers to maneuver through the defense. Halfmijl HC's Sipke Hesp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Halfmijl HC from getting a goal against them. When Rogier Theuws fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halfmijl HC's protests and gave Rogier Theuws a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Rogier Theuws hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Halfmijl HC's Sipke Hesp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerben Kuis in the 86th minute of play. Herman Boekholt kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Gerben Kuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Harde had played much better football throughout.
