In a very dangerous position, a player in Heidehuizen RKSV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Kees Otten shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Dave Vliet came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the SC Cliffeinde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Vliet couldn't finish the play. Dave Vliets short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Dirk Ostermann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Heidehuizen RKSV's zone, Nigel Jansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Ostermann came out of the goal and Nigel Jansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnold van der Velden kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Dave Vliet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dirk Ostermann made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Wouter Witters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriaan Swerts made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Anthony Karremans however managed to control. SC Cliffeinde's Nigel Jansen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adriaan Swerts, made in the 31st minute of the game. The supporters of SC Cliffeinde booed when Heidehuizen RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Karremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dave Vliet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dirk Ostermann was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Youri Spijkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Ostermann having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Vliet to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SC Cliffeinde's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Stam came free, but Edgard Gasteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heidehuizen RKSV's Dirk Ostermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Vliet in the 60th minute of play. Wouter Witters hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, Adriaan Swerts threw the ball into play from the sideline. SC Cliffeinde's Domenik Terpstra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Vliet in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirk Ostermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th match minute, SC Cliffeinde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnout Meijs to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Vliet in the 75th minute of play forced Heidehuizen RKSV's goalkeeper Dirk Ostermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirk Ostermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Vliet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Gasteren was a little too slow when Felix Gierman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-1. When SC Cliffeinde's Dave Vliet in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SC Cliffeinde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nigel Jansen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Gasteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Gierman in the 89th minute of the match. Heidehuizen RKSV were furious when Joop Broos was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Heidehuizen RKSV getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Joop Broos hit a great ball. SC Cliffeinde were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Heidehuizen RKSV to leave the ground with a draw.
