Spectators: 6852 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gooitzen Witting got the match started through his kick off. Jan Vennegoor took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dirk Ostermann. Dirk Ostermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jan Vennegoor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Ostermann having to interfere. In the 17th minute Gooitzen Witting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Ostermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joop Broos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to Heidehuizen RKSV getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Joop Broos hit a great ball. Dirk Ostermann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gooitzen Witting's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnold van der Velden during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Heidehuizen RKSV's Arnold van der Velden got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gooitzen Witting managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weena's supporters rose to their feet, but Gooitzen Witting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Ostermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gertjan van Zwam came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Weena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gertjan van Zwam couldn't finish the play. Gooitzen Witting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Ostermann having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin van Hintum made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Jan Vennegoor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Weena and the Heidehuizen RKSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Jan Vennegoor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Weena fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Weena's Gooitzen Witting looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kevin van Hintum took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Sandbergen. Marcel Sandbergen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Simon Hartogh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Gooitzen Witting managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weena's supporters rose to their feet, but Gooitzen Witting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Ostermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Tjeerd van den Bergh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tjeerd van den Bergh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Weena booed when Heidehuizen RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serge Huizing didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Weena's Simon Hartogh in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Weena's Gooitzen Witting got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gooitzen Witting in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirk Ostermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82ndth minute of the game Gooitzen Witting who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heidehuizen RKSV's Dirk Ostermann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tjeerd van den Bergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dirk Ostermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Heidehuizen RKSV's zone, Gooitzen Witting stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Ostermann came out of the goal and Gooitzen Witting tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Simon Hartogh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gooitzen Witting struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dirk Ostermann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weena. When Weena's Gooitzen Witting in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heidehuizen RKSV's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Tjeerd van den Bergh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Serge Huizing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Dirk Ostermann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Weena's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
