Filip Meurs made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Damario Villaboa sent off a good shot on target. Sjoerd Helwig took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filip Meurs. Filip Meurs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Gooische club's goal looked a bit too open when Sjoerd Helwig came free, but Filip Meurs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Meurs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjoerd Helwig in the 13th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, SV Spakenburg's Sjoerd Helwig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Meurs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damario Villaboa got free with Filip Meurs in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filip Meurs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maikel Redan, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to SV Spakenburg getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Maikel Redan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Filip Meurs made a huge save. Gooische club's Filip Meurs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maikel Redan in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Sjoerd Helwig lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Filip Meurs. After a rather tough play, SV Spakenburg's Stef van Zonderen got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Filip Meurs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 96 minutes of play, SV Spakenburg's Frank Pragt made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Meurs was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SV Spakenburg had played much better football throughout.
