The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tjeerd de Freitas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mariano Bombarda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Hette van Dijk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hette van Dijk got free with Tjeerd de Freitas in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tjeerd de Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hette van Dijk's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Kenneth van der Leegte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennie Post in the 23rd minute of play. Frits van Loo charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frits van Loo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Frits van Loo. SV Wissenkerke were furious when Ralph Cramer was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of SV Wissenkerke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Killer Elite:s goal. After 33 minutes, Stef Mol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Wissenkerke and the FC Killer Elite players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SV Wissenkerke getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Stef Mol hit a great ball. SV Wissenkerke's Stef Mol got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Foeke Bouma during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tjeerd de Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hette van Dijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. SV Wissenkerke's Kenneth van der Leegte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennie Post in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bennie Post to make the kick off. Tjeerd de Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hette van Dijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's Stef Mol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tjeerd de Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Hette van Dijk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tjeerd de Freitas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Mariano Bombarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Killer Elite's goalkeeper Tjeerd de Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hette van Dijk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tjeerd de Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Tjeerd de Freitas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hette van Dijk went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Kenneth van der Leegte made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Bennie Post sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, SV Wissenkerke could leave the field as winners, despite FC Killer Elite having more of the ball for most of the match.
