Humberto Rademaker lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of PolishPower:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ASC Amsterdam:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for ASC Amsterdam. Frits Tuyp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henk Smibum. 0-2. In the 13th minute, Ivor Sadler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henk Smibum was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 21 minutes, Ivor Sadler made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. PolishPower's Henk Smibum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ASC Amsterdam booed when PolishPower was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelvin Jonker didn't get a good kick on the ball. PolishPower's Henk Smibum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivor Sadler in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, PolishPower's goal looked a bit too open when Ivor Sadler came free, but Henk Smibum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Harm Holthuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henk Smibum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Rein van Loo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henk Smibum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Rein van Loo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Jan Rein van Loo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASC Amsterdam fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivor Sadler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Lucjan Janiczek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Henk Smibum was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and William Raynard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. William Raynard really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Henk Smibum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Raynard, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Henk Smibum didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. In the 71st minute William Raynard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk Smibum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the PolishPower defense, Jan Rein van Loo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henk Smibum. The PolishPower fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henk Smibum should have stopped the shot. PolishPower's Henk Smibum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Raynard in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes, Bruno Zeijlemaker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PolishPower and the ASC Amsterdam players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PolishPower getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bruno Zeijlemaker hit a great ball. ASC Amsterdam's Ivor Sadler was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Henk Smibum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Raynard in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Raynard in the 92nd minute of play forced PolishPower's goalkeeper Henk Smibum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ASC Amsterdam played a much better game than PolishPower and deserved their victory. The PolishPower players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
