Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilbert Siwy got the match started through his kick off. Gilbert Siwys short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Paul Bouwman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilbert Siwy in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Bouwman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bao Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hub Oorthuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Lurling during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Gilbert Lurling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kristof Derksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Siwy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Paul Bouwman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paul Bouwman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilbert Siwy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Kristof Derksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Bouwman having to interfere. When Kristof Derksen came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Vogelzang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristof Derksen couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Jurgen Oosting was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. D.S United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Vogelzang the free kick. In the 37th match minute, D.S United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurgen Oosting to maneuver through the defense. Paul Bouwman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mario Caluwé. In the 42nd minute, Gilbert Siwy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Bouwman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hub Oorthuis to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, FC Vogelzang's Serge Bakker made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Bouwman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, D.S United's Pim Kroeze got a free kick in the 54th minute. FC Vogelzang's Eric Boven was substituted for Paul Reis. Gilbert Lurling hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Kristof Derksen came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Vogelzang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristof Derksen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Vogelzang's Jan-Peter Drok got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, D.S United's goal looked a bit too open when Kristof Derksen came free, but Paul Bouwman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Bouwman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Derksen in the 66th minute of play. Karsten Hegeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bao Quijana having to interfere. Paul Bouwman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Siwy's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. When FC Vogelzang's Gilbert Siwy in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Güvenç Salim fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Vogelzang's protests and gave Güvenç Salim a yellow card for diving instead. Bao Quijana had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Julius Reiling's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When FC Vogelzang's Gilbert Siwy in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The FC Vogelzang fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when FC Vogelzang's Gilbert Siwy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to FC Vogelzang getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mario Caluwé hit a great ball. Jurgen Oosting kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match Mario Caluwé sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Bouwman skillfully saved the ball. Lucas Zwarthoet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Siwy in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Bouwman saved D.S United from getting behind.
