PolishPower's attentive Humberto Rademaker managed to snatch the ball when Casper Sturm made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Henk Smibum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elco Roswinkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peppies FC's zone, Bruno Zeijlemaker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Temen came out of the goal and Bruno Zeijlemaker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Peppies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Bogarde came free, but Andreas Temen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Cales in the 46th minute of play forced PolishPower's goalkeeper Henk Smibum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joeri Keupink kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Zeijlemaker to strike the kick off in the second half. Kelvin Jonker kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. PolishPower's Henk Smibum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Wilson in the 60th minute of play. Leon Teunissen charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Teunissen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Peppies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Teunissen to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Zeijlemaker struck a weak shot in the 64th minute.
