Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 51) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gertjan Krol took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Hendrik Deinse got free with Rajmund Sáfár in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Heinz-Dieter Baxter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raamberg Excelsior's supporters rose to their feet, but Heinz-Dieter Baxter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21stth minute of the game Heinz-Dieter Baxter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schoonbron's Fábio Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Schoonbron's goal looked a bit too open when Heinz-Dieter Baxter came free, but Fábio Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Schoonbron getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Benito Roderigo hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Mario Ranzijn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raamberg Excelsior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Schoonbron's zone, Gertjan Krol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Proença came out of the goal and Gertjan Krol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raamberg Excelsior's Rajmund Sáfár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordi Spijker in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gertjan Krol in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Billy Ottenhof's late challenge caught a Raamberg Excelsior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Billy Ottenhof helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Schoonbron getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Billy Ottenhof hit a great ball. Mario Ranzijn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fábio Proença. Schoonbron's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fábio Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heinz-Dieter Baxter, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute Heinz-Dieter Baxter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Schoonbron players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Raamberg Excelsior were winning 0-1.

Michael de Backer hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Billy Ottenhof sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rajmund Sáfár skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinier Valk during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Schoonbron's Reinier Valk got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Heinz-Dieter Baxter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raamberg Excelsior's Michael de Backer got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Michael de Backer off the ground. After 69 played minutes Raamberg Excelsior got a freekick which was hit by Michael de Backer. After 70 played minutes, Schoonbron's Billy Ottenhof shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rajmund Sáfár came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Schoonbron reached it. Izydor Smolarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, Raamberg Excelsior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Averdijk to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Gert Hilberts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Billy Ottenhof sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Schoonbron fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Raamberg Excelsior were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
