Harm Holthuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. René de Vries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harm Holthuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Harm Holthuis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kolham FC's René de Vries was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Bruno Zeijlemaker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PolishPower's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kolham FC the free kick. In the 11th minute, Bruno Zeijlemaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henk Smibum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willem Sibon in the 12th minute. If Bruno Zeijlemaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kolham FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Willem Sibon hit a great ball. Harm Holthuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René de Vries having to interfere. If Harm Holthuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Zeijlemaker in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René de Vries saved Kolham FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bruno Zeijlemaker sped through Kolham FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of René de Vries. 31 minutes into the match, Kolham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Zeijlemaker came free, but René de Vries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Henry Teesing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harm Holthuis in the 36th minute of play forced Kolham FC's goalkeeper René de Vries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Zeijlemaker in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René de Vries saved Kolham FC from getting behind. After 42 minutes, Pepijn van Amersfoort mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kolham FC and the PolishPower players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, one of Kolham FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kolham FC. The referee gave PolishPower a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lex Zoetebier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kolham FC's René de Vries. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Bruno Zeijlemaker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but René de Vries was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. If Harm Holthuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kolham FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PolishPower were winning 0-2.

In the 52nd match minute, Kolham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepijn van Amersfoort to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, PolishPower's Lex Zoetebier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper René de Vries came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PolishPower reached it. PolishPower were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Kolham FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lex Zoetebier took the corner. 58 minutes into the game, Bruno Zeijlemaker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. René de Vries was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henk Smibum came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kolham FC's Kristian Zoolingen. But to his dismay, Kristian Zoolingen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. René de Vries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harm Holthuis in the 66th minute of the match. Bruno Zeijlemaker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, René de Vries skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. René de Vries breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Zeijlemaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René de Vries having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as PolishPower's Harm Holthuis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of René de Vries. That made the score 1-4 after 83 minutes of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolham FC's goalkeeper René de Vries, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harm Holthuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. René de Vries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kolham FC's René de Vries proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Kolham FC from getting a goal against them. When the match was over PolishPower could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kolham FC throughout the match.
