Spectators: 8058 (Terracing: 6045, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Fokke Fokkelman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Bernard Reitsema made a huge save. In the 5th minute, Heinz-Dieter Baxter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernard Reitsema was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Fokke Fokkelman could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Bernard Reitsema however easily saved by the left post. Rajmund Sáfár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Beerthuis in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Punten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ate Deiman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Punten defense, Heinz-Dieter Baxter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Reitsema. The Punten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Reitsema should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, René Eisenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gertjan Krol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Reitsema having to interfere. Bernard Reitsema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gertjan Krol in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Gert Hilberts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Cranenburgh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rajmund Sáfár. Raamberg Excelsior's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Punten's Bernard Reitsema proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Punten from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Gertjan Krol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernard Reitsema, 3-0. In the 42nd minute Ate Deiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajmund Sáfár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Punten's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Gertjan Krol scored to the left of an out of position Bernard Reitsema, making the score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ate Deiman to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernard Reitsema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gertjan Krol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Raamberg Excelsior's goalkeeper Rajmund Sáfár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathijs Klap. Heinz-Dieter Baxter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Punten defense, Heinz-Dieter Baxter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Reitsema. The Punten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Reitsema should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Marco Cranenburgh notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Raamberg Excelsior's Rajmund Sáfár. Rajmund Sáfár was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Raamberg Excelsior's Rajmund Sáfár got control of the ball when Ate Deiman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernard Reitsema came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Raamberg Excelsior's Heinz-Dieter Baxter. But to his dismay, Heinz-Dieter Baxter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. A collision led to Raamberg Excelsior getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gert Hilberts hit a great ball. Punten's Albert Beerthuis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rajmund Sáfár but with some difficulty. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by René Eisenga with Mathijs Klap as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 81 minutes into the game, Gertjan Krol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Bernard Reitsema was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Mathijs Klap fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punten's protests and gave Mathijs Klap a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Raamberg Excelsior booed when Punten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijs Klap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heinz-Dieter Baxter hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Mathijs Klap reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rajmund Sáfár. The goal made the score 7-2. A collision led to Punten getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Coos Eising hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Raamberg Excelsior were the better team. Raamberg Excelsior's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
