Denny Wagemakers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 played minutes Vierhuizen Inter Bull got a freekick which was hit by Bill Dorenbosch. Bao Quijana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Käller went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, Vierhuizen Inter Bull's goal looked a bit too open when Kristof Derksen came free, but Denny Wagemakers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Vierhuizen Inter Bull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Hebels to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Serge Bakker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denny Wagemakers skillfully saved the ball. Denny Wagemakers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Siwy, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Steve Boersma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bao Quijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Gilbert Siwy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny Wagemakers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristof Derksen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Denny Wagemakers came out and tried to block the shot, but Kristof Derksen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. In the 37th match minute, FC Vogelzang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Boekholt to maneuver through the defense. Bao Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harris Hateboer in the 40th minute of the match. Evert Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristof Derksen in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denny Wagemakers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Henk Boekholt made a precise shot to the right of Denny Wagemakers. Vierhuizen Inter Bull's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Siwy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes FC Vogelzang got a freekick which was hit by Paul Reis. FC Vogelzang's Eric Boven was substituted for Paul Reis. In the 58th minute, Paul Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Evert Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bao Quijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harris Hateboer in the 61st minute of play forced FC Vogelzang's goalkeeper Bao Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes, Evert Käller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vierhuizen Inter Bull and the FC Vogelzang players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harris Hateboer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Vierhuizen Inter Bull booed when FC Vogelzang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Peter Drok didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Harris Hateboer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bao Quijana skillfully saved the ball. Harris Hateboer struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Bao Quijana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vierhuizen Inter Bull. In the 75th match minute, Vierhuizen Inter Bull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Boersma to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Vogelzang's Jan-Peter Drok got a free kick in the 78th minute. Harris Hateboer struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Bao Quijana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vierhuizen Inter Bull. After 85 played minutes FC Vogelzang got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Siwy. With 88 minutes on the clock, Justin Timmerman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 89th minute, Justin Timmerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harris Hateboer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bao Quijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
