Elco Roswinkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Bouwman having to interfere. After some careless play in the D.S United defense, Twan Wilson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Bouwman. The D.S United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Bouwman should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Twan Wilson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peppies FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Twan Wilson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Bouwman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to D.S United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gilbert Lurling hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Meijering during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jim Meijering hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes, Peppies FC's Wim Bijl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul Bouwman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peppies FC reached it. Paul Bouwman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elco Roswinkel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Gilbert Lurling hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Elco Roswinkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Bouwman having to interfere. A collision led to Peppies FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dennis Cales hit a great ball. Peppies FC's Andreas Temen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Peppies FC from getting a goal against them. If Twan Wilson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Julius Reiling sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Peppies FC's Andreas Temen didn't even have to move. Elco Roswinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 49th minute, Hub Oorthuis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andreas Temen. The goal made the score 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hub Oorthuis to make the kick off. Andreas Temen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karsten Hegeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Elco Roswinkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Temen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hub Oorthuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Paul Bouwman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elco Roswinkel's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Andreas Temen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hub Oorthuis in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Peppies FC's Twan Wilson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Bouwman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Paul Bouwman made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Twan Wilson sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hub Oorthuis in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Temen saved Peppies FC from getting behind. If Twan Wilson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to D.S United getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Julius Reiling hit a great ball. Andreas Temen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hub Oorthuis in the 88th minute of the match. Twan Wilson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Bouwman having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, D.S United's goal looked a bit too open when Elco Roswinkel came free, but Paul Bouwman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The D.S United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peppies FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
