When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gilbert Siwy sped through Peppies FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andreas Temen. Bao Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elco Roswinkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Peppies FC booed when FC Vogelzang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Peter Drok didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Henk Boekholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Temen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Peppies FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Teunissen. Gilbert Siwy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Temen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Cales during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Vogelzang booed when Peppies FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Bijl didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Siwy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Temen was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elco Roswinkel was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Siwy in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Temen saved Peppies FC from getting behind. A collision led to Peppies FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dennis Cales hit a great ball. FC Vogelzang made a substitution. Eric Boven replaced Paul Reis. Dennis Cales kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Twan Wilson charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Twan Wilson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 65 minutes into the match, Peppies FC's goalkeeper Andreas Temen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henk Boekholt. Andreas Temen stood somewhat misplaced when Gilbert Siwy came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 66 minute. Gilbert Siwy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Andreas Temen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andreas Temen came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Vogelzang's Gilbert Siwy. But to his dismay, Gilbert Siwy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Peppies FC's Andreas Temen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Siwy in the 87th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Gilbert Siwy made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Peppies FC's Andreas Temen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilbert Siwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Vogelzang played a much better game than Peppies FC and deserved their victory. The Peppies FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
