Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elco Roswinkel made the kick off which started today's match. When Ate Deiman came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Punten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ate Deiman couldn't finish the play. Ate Deiman had several of the Peppies FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Andreas Temen as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Coos Eising got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 8 minutes into the match, Elco Roswinkel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Punten's Bernard Reitsema. Bernard Reitsema was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dennis Cales hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Mathijs Klap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Dennis Cales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Reitsema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coos Eising recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernard Reitsema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Cales in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Punten's goal looked a bit too open when Elco Roswinkel came free, but Bernard Reitsema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ate Deiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Reitsema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Cales in the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ate Deiman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Temen was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. With a little luck, Peppies FC's Andreas Temen got control of the ball when Ate Deiman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Twan Wilson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Bernard Reitsema made a huge save. Coos Eising kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Dennis Cales fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peppies FC's protests and gave Dennis Cales a yellow card for diving instead. Dennis Cales kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ate Deiman in the 59th minute of play forced Peppies FC's goalkeeper Andreas Temen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Jean-Paul Ostermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peppies FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Punten the free kick. A collision led to Peppies FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jean-Paul Ostermann hit a great ball. Andreas Temen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ate Deiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66thth minute of the game Ate Deiman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peppies FC's Andreas Temen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Punten's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albert Beerthuis in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ate Deiman in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Temen saved Peppies FC from getting behind. Bernard Reitsema made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Leon Teunissen sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Temen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ate Deiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Temen came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Punten's Ate Deiman. But to his dismay, Ate Deiman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 84 minutes into the match, Punten's Marco Cranenburgh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Temen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Punten defense, Leon Teunissen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Reitsema. The Punten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Reitsema should have stopped the shot. In the 89th match minute, Peppies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Cales to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Temen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ate Deiman's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. If Mathijs Klap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Temen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ate Deiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peppies FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Punten.
