An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Siwy in the 23rd minute of play forced PolishPower's goalkeeper Henk Smibum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henk Smibum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Siwy's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Paul Reis sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Henk Smibum threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Paul Reis this time. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Siwy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henk Smibum was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
