In the 5th minute Harm Holthuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Reitsema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Reitsema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Keupink, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, PolishPower's Bruno Zeijlemaker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernard Reitsema. Bernard Reitsema yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 16th match minute, PolishPower was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joeri Keupink to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Reitsema was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruno Zeijlemaker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 25th minute Ate Deiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk Smibum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Rademaker kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Sjoerd van Heiningen threw the ball into play from the sideline. PolishPower's Humberto Rademaker quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. PolishPower's Henk Smibum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ate Deiman in the 34th minute of play. Henk Smibum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ate Deiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PolishPower's Harm Holthuis got a free kick in the 37th minute. Punten's Bernard Reitsema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joeri Keupink in the 39th minute of play. Ate Deiman scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henk Smibum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ate Deiman in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henk Smibum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Klap in the 46th minute of play forced PolishPower's goalkeeper Henk Smibum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Punten's Ate Deiman in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PolishPower's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bruno Zeijlemaker made the kick off in the second half. Bernard Reitsema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harm Holthuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henk Smibum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Beerthuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Mathijs Klap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Henk Smibum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Reitsema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Holthuis in the 61st minute of play. When Harm Holthuis fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PolishPower's protests and gave Harm Holthuis a yellow card for diving instead. Harm Holthuis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Mathijs Klap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Henk Smibum made a huge save. In the 74th minute of the game Anton Geerds made a throw-in which Coos Eising played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathijs Klap got free with Henk Smibum in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, PolishPower's Henk Smibum got control of the ball when Albert Beerthuis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute Joeri Keupink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Reitsema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Joeri Keupink elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Marco Cranenburgh came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Punten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Cranenburgh couldn't finish the play. Henk Smibum had great luck who in the 87thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ate Deiman from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to Punten getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marco Cranenburgh hit a great ball. PolishPower's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
