Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Folkert Beishuizen kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, KING's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Hoogsteen came free, but Lucien Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Kuypers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Hans Pik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Jasper van Beukering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucien Kiewit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Hoogsteen in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, KING's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Dijken came free, but Lucien Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Jasper van Beukering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KING's Wim Kuys got a free kick in the 17th minute. Norbert Balogh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucien Kiewit. KING's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, KING's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper van Beukering came free, but Lucien Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KING's Lucien Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper van Beukering in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Otto Dijken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ryan Kuypers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryan Kuypers hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. KING's Lucien Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib de Zwaan in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, KING's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Balogh came free, but Lucien Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Gerard Hoogsteen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KING's Lucien Kiewit. Lucien Kiewit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Gerard Hoogsteen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GALATASARAY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half GALATASARAY were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerard Hoogsteen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerard Hoogsteen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucien Kiewit made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jasper van Beukering sent off a good shot on target. Lucien Kiewit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Balogh in the 54th minute of the match. Robbie Hofmeester scored 0-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucien Kiewit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Norbert Balogh put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Lucien Kiewit. 68 minutes into the match, KING's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Balogh came free, but Lucien Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Huib de Zwaan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucien Kiewit didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. 81 minutes into the game, Gerard Hoogsteen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucien Kiewit. Gerard Hoogsteen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 85 minutes into the game, GALATASARAY's Gerard Hoogsteen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucien Kiewit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Lucien Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Balogh, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The KING fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GALATASARAY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
