Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fred Zevenhuizen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Fred Zevenhuizen came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Royal Maas Yacht Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Zevenhuizen couldn't finish the play. Royal Maas Yacht Club's Emiel Heuvel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Smit in the 8th minute of play. Emiel Heuvel came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Pride of the North's Rien Saarberg. But to his dismay, Rien Saarberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 20thth minute of the game Fred Zevenhuizen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pride of the North's Hans Siebum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teo Zuiverloon's late challenge caught a Royal Maas Yacht Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Zuiverloon helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Pride of the North got a freekick which was hit by Teo Zuiverloon. After 23 played minutes Pride of the North got a freekick which was hit by Henk-Jan Stroobos. 26 minutes into the game, Pride of the North's Rien Saarberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiel Heuvel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Henk-Jan Stroobos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, Royal Maas Yacht Club's Marco Hillen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hans Siebum came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Royal Maas Yacht Club reached it. In the 36th minute, Fred Zevenhuizen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Siebum was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Royal Maas Yacht Club's Emiel Heuvel got control of the ball when Rien Saarberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Grijp kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Zevenhuizen in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Siebum saved Pride of the North from getting behind. With a little luck, Pride of the North's Hans Siebum got control of the ball when Fred Zevenhuizen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henk-Jan Stroobos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Fred Zevenhuizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hans Siebum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiel Heuvel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk-Jan Stroobos in the 65th minute of play. Pride of the North's Hans Siebum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Pride of the North from getting a goal against them. In the 67th match minute, Royal Maas Yacht Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Holsmuller to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Albert Smit notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Royal Maas Yacht Club's Emiel Heuvel. Emiel Heuvel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthony van der Weerden got free with Hans Siebum in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Teo Zuiverloon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Pride of the North's Brain Ooijer got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Rien Saarberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82ndth minute of the game Fred Zevenhuizen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pride of the North's Hans Siebum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiel Heuvel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rien Saarberg in the 90th minute of play. Royal Maas Yacht Club's Emiel Heuvel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rien Saarberg in the 91st minute of play. Rien Saarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel Heuvel having to interfere. Pride of the North were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Royal Maas Yacht Club for a fine match.
