Vincent de Visser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Smibum having to interfere. Reinhard Lensen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evert Smibum. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Stephan Hammen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evert Smibum. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Aad Lurling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Andriessen in the 9th minute of play. Evert Smibum came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Reimersbeek U23's Stephan Hammen. But to his dismay, Stephan Hammen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Patrick Famelen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Humberto Andriessen charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Andriessen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fluitende Ventieltjes FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Humberto Andriessen hit a great ball. Vincent de Visser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Smibum having to interfere. Gert van Damme charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert van Damme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Gert van Damme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent de Visser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Smibum having to interfere. In the 21st minute Stephan Hammen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Smibum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirk-Jan Korf kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Coenraad Schreuder broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Patrick Famelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Reimersbeek U23's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Andriessen came free, but Aad Lurling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evert Smibum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent de Visser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Reimersbeek U23's Stephan Hammen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evert Smibum. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. Aad Lurling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Andriessen in the 40th minute of play. Aad Lurling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Famelen in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Reimersbeek U23's Stephan Hammen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evert Smibum. Evert Smibum yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Reimersbeek U23's Aad Lurling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Reimersbeek U23 from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Patrick Famelen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aad Lurling. That made the score 4-1 after 55 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Aad Lurling threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patrick Famelen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Franck Zuid's late challenge caught a Reimersbeek U23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franck Zuid helped the player get up and apologised. Franck Zuid kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Youri Bemmel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evert Smibum. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Reimersbeek U23's Stephan Hammen made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert Smibum was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Patrick Famelen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-2. Gert van Damme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aad Lurling came out and tried to block the shot, but Gert van Damme slotted it home off the left post making it 6-3 in the 75th minute. If Stephan Hammen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81st play minutes Stephan Hammen shot 7-3, a short shot which went by Evert Smibum and just under the crossbar into goal. When Reimersbeek U23's Stephan Hammen in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aad Lurling was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Gert van Damme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gert van Damme really showed his touch with that goal: 7-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincent de Visser during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vincent de Visser hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Humberto Andriessen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-6 in the 92nd playminute. Humberto Andriessen came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aad Lurling could save by the left post. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
