Gerard Hoogsteen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fluitende Ventieltjes FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Brain van der Velden hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Patrick Famelen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Evert Smibum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Hoogsteen in the 15th minute of play. Norbert Balogh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evert Smibum having to make a save. Evert Smibum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Balogh in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Patrick Famelen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Hofmeester to maneuver through the defense. Hans Pik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Famelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Fluitende Ventieltjes FC defense, Gerard Hoogsteen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert Smibum. The Fluitende Ventieltjes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Smibum should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Norbert Balogh managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Balogh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Smibum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Edwin Zalm put in a rough tackle. 32 minutes into the game, one of Fluitende Ventieltjes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for GALATASARAY. Norbert Balogh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Evert Smibum. 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Balogh came free, but Evert Smibum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franck Zuid's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franck Zuid helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franck Zuid to maneuver through the defense. Evert Smibum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Balogh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Hoogsteen in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evert Smibum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Hoogsteen came free, but Evert Smibum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Andriessen was the one to do the kick off. Evert Smibum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Haar in the 51st minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Norbert Balogh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Evert Smibum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jasper van Beukering in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evert Smibum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Evert Smibum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Fluitende Ventieltjes FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Norbert Balogh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evert Smibum was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Norbert Balogh scored to the left of an out of position Evert Smibum, making the score, 0-4. Evert Smibum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Hoogsteen in the 77th minute. Gerard Hoogsteen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Evert Smibum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Fluitende Ventieltjes FC from getting a goal against them. Evert Smibum made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Gerard Hoogsteen sent off a good shot on target. Evert Smibum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Balogh in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's zone, Norbert Balogh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Smibum came out of the goal and Norbert Balogh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GALATASARAY's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
