The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Eldersloo's goalkeeper Emil van Amersfoort had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Hoogsteen. Gerard Hoogsteen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Emil van Amersfoort when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hans Pik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Valberg in the 6th minute of the match. Eldersloo's Emil van Amersfoort proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Eldersloo from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the game, Emilian Pantilimon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eldersloo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY the free kick. After a rather tough play, Eldersloo's Emilian Pantilimon got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jelle Meulman scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Pik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Balogh in the 23rd minute of play forced Eldersloo's goalkeeper Emil van Amersfoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil van Amersfoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Balogh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Jelle Meulman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerard Hoogsteen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Emil van Amersfoort made a huge save. In the 36th minute Ege Sabit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Pik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Norbert Balogh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emil van Amersfoort. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper van Beukering in the 42nd minute of play forced Eldersloo's goalkeeper Emil van Amersfoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eldersloo's Emil van Amersfoort proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Eldersloo from getting a goal against them. That made the score 2-3 after 62 minutes of play. Emil van Amersfoort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Balogh in the 65th minute of play. Frits Blaauwgeers charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frits Blaauwgeers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. GALATASARAY's Hans Pik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. Hans Pik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ege Sabit in the 82nd minute of play. Emil van Amersfoort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Balogh, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Eldersloo's zone, Norbert Balogh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil van Amersfoort came out of the goal and Norbert Balogh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the game, Norbert Balogh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Emil van Amersfoort was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Eldersloo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
