The referee ignored KING's protests and gave Alwin Rijaard a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Folkert Beishuizen made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ted Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KING's zone, Cemil Talayhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucien Kiewit came out of the goal and Cemil Talayhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucien Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cemil Talayhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Folkert Beishuizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucien Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ted Lundström hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. KING succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Uithuizen had controlled the match.
