The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerald Sleiffer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hidayet Usum shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Dries Breugel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schoonouwen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dries Breugel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Folkert Hulscher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiën Kosterman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Schoonouwen's Fabiën Kosterman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 82nd minute, Pieter van Driest reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arjan van Rijswijk. The goal made the score 1-1. Caliamera FC's Folkert Hulscher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin van der Vaart in the 91st minute of play. If Hidayet Usum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
