Caliamera FC's Folkert Hulscher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martijn Klaasens in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Caliamera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter van Gaal came free, but Folkert Hulscher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ton Batenburg's late challenge caught a Budapest United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 24 minutes of play, Budapest United's Peter van Gaal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folkert Hulscher was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Martijn Klaasens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rik Heerspink charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rik Heerspink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 minutes Budapest United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Veldman who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Sven Buring heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Geale Ijkwezen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Folkert Hulscher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Folker de Winter during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Folker de Winter kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the match was over Budapest United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caliamera FC throughout the match.
