Ed Rinzema came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Folkert Hulscher could save by the left post. Hub Huizinga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ed Rinzema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folkert Hulscher having to interfere. Folkert Hulscher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Rinzema in the 19th minute of play. Rik Heerspink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Tulner having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Daan Brons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorky F.C. and the Caliamera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Zorky F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daan Brons to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Floris Arts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folkert Hulscher was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Caliamera FC defense, Rinus Duinhoven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folkert Hulscher. The Caliamera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folkert Hulscher should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hub Huizinga was the one to do the kick off. Henry van Fessum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Otto Tulner made a huge save. Ed Rinzema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Folkert Hulscher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ronald Veninga fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zorky F.C.'s protests and gave Ronald Veninga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Caliamera FC. Victor Veldman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Otto Tulner. 2-2. Floris Arts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folkert Hulscher having to interfere. Hub Huizinga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folkert Hulscher having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Pieter van Driest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Caliamera FC got a freekick which was hit by Pieter van Driest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marinus Scheffer during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hub Huizinga scored 4-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folkert Hulscher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Hub Huizinga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Floris Arts in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folkert Hulscher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rinus Duinhoven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folkert Hulscher having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caliamera FC's Victor Veldman got a free kick in the 98th minute. Hub Huizinga fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 99th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot.
